Flashlight not working

For some reason the flashlight isn't working when I go to darker areas.Did I do something wrong or is it a bug ?

yeah i think I did I am very late into the game basically in the body of that inquisitor guy,where i have to reclaim each stuff.I go to that part where i have to enter a dark cave just before obtaining the flashlight.The flashlight never turns on when i enter the cave.

If for some reason I forgot to obtain my flashlight in prior levels am I stuck now ?

Edit:I can't teleport out of that level seems like If you don't obtain flashlight before that level you are stuck.

I did not took the flashlight before getting the book of languages as well. I passed though the dark area by force, because I thought that was meant to. Now in the inquisitor area, before one of the dark areas, I caught the flashlight, but it doesn`t work because I should have it before entering this area

I passed through it running... One time the RNG of the damage and knockback will let you to get through it. Though I still have no idea on how to acquire the flashlight beforte this.

Sadly, I didn't get the flashlight until I was inside The Inquisitor's Limbo. The flashlight is not automatically working. Anyone know of any fixes?

Same here, but I got the flashlight in the chapel in the prior area and it worked, now I'm forced to travel between darkness and magically it doesn't work anymore.

The same thing happened with me. I restarted the game, and the flashlight was fine.

Also, upgrade the flashlight in the Shop as you need brighter and stronger light in many areas.
