Play what you enjoy.
Sonic Superstar hardly held my attention unlike Super Mario Bros Wonder which I finished 100% just yesterday after over 24 hours of playing. I just hope the next Sonic game is more like the open world of Frontiers and less like Superstars.
Jealous. lol
Releasing in the same week as Mario Wonder and Spider-Man 2 isn't great though. If you have a Good/OK game out in the same week as two games that could be considered Amazing then it's likely that people will plump for what is considered the highest quality.
Switch is worth it for platformer fans imo, plus it's a small device that can sit on pc desk like a little portable companion for it
I'm never one to take it outside, just something I might boot up from time to time if the missus is watching the TV or something.. also I do get nice nostalgic gameboy vibes when I play it
But yeah, exclusives kinda suck but it's something nintendo will never give up.. at least Sega is multi-plat
