Online play?

How much can I do online? I'm long distance with my gf right now and I want to do basically anything that would be done split-screen in past sonic games except online, and I'm hoping this is finally the game that lets us do that.

I'd do steam remote play but neither of our connections are good enough for game streaming... only just good enough for some basic multiplayer.

You can play the competitive battle mode online 🙂 This'll need an Epic account for each player.

Alas, the main campaign's co op is local only.

Online has been okay, but I would play now.

I can see the online multiplayer being dead in a couple of weeks.
