How do I login into the epic games account on steam deck?

Trying to play on steam deck, can’t get past intro screen because I can’t get past the epic login

Check in the top left corner of the screen if there is a small X to skip that which you should be able to tap on the touchscreen.

You cannot select the X close button on the Steam Deck. Hopefully there will be patch soon as the game is totally unplayable on the steam deck at the moment because of this.

I switched my control scheme to keyboard and mouse, logged in, and then switched back to gamepad.

If you have a PC with Steam on the same network, launch the game on your Steam deck, then on your PC go to your Game Library and press "Connect" under Sonic Superstars. It will stream the game to your pc, which means you can use your mouse to click the menus.

Hold down Steam button on the Steam Deck and use the track pad to get the mouse cursor. Then you can close the Epic games prompt. Still annoying to have to do this every time the game starts though.

you can use the TAB button to select the menu and pick Allow, this also happens on regular linux pc btw
