Final boss has the worst design... do you agree?

Final boss on the last level is literally bs. I couldnt bother going back 15 mins to try to beat it again.

Anyone else agree?

I actually do agree tbh, when I first played this game, I kept dying so many times to cheap one shotting moves from both bosses (Fang is much worse tho). But once you know what to do, it gets easier, its just annoying having to restart from the beginning of the fight when there could've been a checkpoint somewhere.

Haven't made it there yet as I decided to take a long break due to constant frustration with a lot of the game's bosses but based on what I've watched online of it the whole fight with Eggman and Fang's mechs looks dreadful. I really would like to know what went into the thought process when designing them and what's the point to rings if Fang's lasers kill you instantly either way?

Possibly the worst designed boss fights in any game I have ever played in my 40+ years of gaming.

The final eggman boss honestly left a really bad taste in my mouth for Sonic franchise. The lack of checkpoints and just the fight in general was complete bs.

I hope Sonic x Shadow Generations will make me forget the bad experience with this title

You won't have to worry about that in Sonic X Shadow, as that game is much more forgiving and not to mention easier

I don't think they ever planned to add checkpoints to any of the bosses in this game. The whole point behind is to spam the emerald abilities
