Is frozen base act 2 (Trip story) bugged?

Near the end of the stage, there's an automated section where platforms are closing. It crushes me every time. Don't tell me it's a skill issue. Has anyone beaten this level? I can't doing anything unless they fix this issue

I’m having the same exact problem. I’ve looked up walkthrough videos and it works just fine for other people. I don’t get it.

The in-game settings didn't help. I had to turn off the variable refresh rate in the computer's settings. I had screen tearing through the whole stage for it to work. I had to figure this out myself. I bet the stage, but gave up at the final boss. I was really annoying with trip's story

Thank god i am not the only one having that issue. Can you tell me how to turn off the variable refresh rate? I am not that much of a tech guy i know like nothing lol

Update. Nvm i don't even have the option cuz my version is too old. What can i do besides turning off the variable refresh rate?
