Easy Fang Final Boss for Steam Deck players

Just thought I would share. You can bind the jump keys (a and b) to L4 and L5, so when you get caught in a web, it is much easier to mash the buttons faster due to your hand position. I still use (a) to jump, but use all three buttons when I get stuck in a web, you don't need to take your left hand off the d-pad .

I can pretty much get out of the webs everytime using this method and makes the boss infinitely easier.

I played on PS5 and just now finished the game. What I like to do to avoid webs is get on the top of a hill, big or small doesn't matter, and right when he's about to shoot, if one is being shot directly at you, move to the next hill, if it's the triangle formation, you wait till they're there and you jump over them. That method helped me dodge them pretty consistently.
