Consistent and obnoxious audio bugs?

So this was an issue at first, but I notice that as I've gotten further in the game it happens more and more often. If I enter any special stage, go Super at any point in the level, or do some trigger I'm unaware of, it permanently alters the music for the stage levels to run at a much faster speed and in some cases, mutes the music entirely(usually the goal jingle).

I've heard others deal with this issue as well, has anyone found a fix?
