Armour break - How does it work?

I had a couple of fights as Onimaru and sometimes my armoured attacks would not beat the faster attacks. How is it supposed to work? When is armour break triggered. Some additional references could be helpful here.

If you check the tooltip for armored, it says it protects you against faster normal and special attacks. So anything that is not that will break armor. Supers, bursts… that’s it, I think?

Maybe explicitly spelling out the armor break reason in the info box would be a simple way to reduce confusion here.

Yeah. If you look at the upper left corner of cards, specials have their own teardrop ish shaped icon. Supers are stars, bursts are starburst shapes.
