Hi there- so sorry to hear you are having this issue. You can try a few things:

Verify User Data Path: Ensure C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data exists.

Adjust Permissions: Right-click the folder > Properties > Security > Edit > Add "Everyone" > Full Control > Apply.

Clear Cache and Profile: Backup and delete the Default folder in the User Data directory.
Reset Edge via PowerShell: Run Get-AppXPackage *MicrosoftEdge* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml" -Verbose}.

Check Registry Keys: In HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge, ensure UserDataDir points to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Edge\User Data.
Verify Environment Variables: Ensure LOCALAPPDATA is set to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local.

Reinstall Edge: If all else fails, uninstall and reinstall Edge from Microsoft's official site.
Restart your PC after each step, and Edge should work correctly.
