1.1 Earth Map

I decided to try out the new Earth map and randomly selected Japan. Holy hell what a difficult starting location. You cannot get off your island until the 3rd age when you can research the ability to embark units. Theres also a grand total of 2 materials production on your island. Somehow managed to survive the purge but boy was it rough getting enough materials to do literally anything.

A very bad starting point! I tried it first too.
But I gave up because I didn't get any material!

The Earth map is WWWAAAYYY too small!!! its terrible. The update is ok but Ara keeps falling short on literately everything

Thank you for the feedback on this map. The team is excited for everyone to play it, and if there are some balance tweaks that need to be made, they will do so based on player feedback like this.

Some of the areas are very small on Earth map. Bigger maps please! :)

The good news is I think Navigation got changed to give you the embarkpass. But yea, islands are tough!

Just tried a russia start....wheres the food! i think the challenge just went up will see if this is a good thing or not

Australia, gives us the island map we always wanted. You can easily get 3 full size cities going as long as you ensure Thailand is not in the game.
