Where is John?
I don't see the new leader.

Hi all - if you're still having trouble seeing the John A. MacDonald DLC, please try the following steps:

1. Navigate to the Ara: History Untold Library Page
2. Scroll down to the "DLC" section (often in the lower right)
3. Select "Manage My DLC"
4. This should open a window with a checklist of DLC, including John A. MacDonald. Make sure that the John A. MacDonald DLC is "checked" and then restart the game.

Yeah, just downloaded the patch, went into the game, and can't find Canada on the leader list anywhere...

Hello! Some users are now able to see and access Canada, it appears that Steam is getting it propagated successfully out - we'll continue to monitor in case there are any reported hiccups or other issues. Thank you all for your patience!

He was missing for me after updating to 1.1, but after enabling and then disabling modding he became available. I don't know if there was a hotfix, or changing modding reset something, or what happened but it's all good now.

Find the DLC on steam then hit the Play button. Steam will try to re-download it if it cannot find it, and then launch the game.

This happens for other games as well. Sometimes Small Free DLCs do not download automatically when they become available.

On gamepass I'm not able to see Canada. Tried enabling and disabling modding and restarting.

Are you seeing the 1.1 update in general, but without John A. MacDonald? Or is the full update not appearing? If the latter - you may need to go into the Xbox app on your PC, and manually trigger the update there.
