Like all good games it is very easy to mod, so you can taylor the game to your ways.
Yeah the core loop of crafting, supply chains and managing your cities QOL's stats is really good. The living world is great. There are other aspects of the game that needs some more depth. However everything works and is solid and I'm confident the devs will continuously improve the game
They are quite open and transparent on the discord server. If you don't like the game that's cool no need to keep adding unconstructive negative posts if your not going to play it.
It was an interesting take on the 4x formula, enough for me to buy it. But it doesnt have the industry recognition of a long term strategy studio and the game doesnt have the spice that attracts new players. (you cannot define that spice as it changes every month, but you can feel the lack of it).
