The early reviews (the ones which were... a little rushed to say the least) are more negative.

Ones that came out about an hour or so after that seem to be far more detailed, and actually go into game comparisons.

But nothing indicating it's a bad game, promising if anything. Definitely post all the detailed reviews you can find.

Be careful people, look at Frostpunk 2, everyone was screaming "9 out of 10 gAmE111!!". What did we get in the end? Horrible UI, broken mechanics and hardware problems.

79 on Metacritic, based on 30 reviews. Mainly positive. Negative points seem to include weak diplomacy system and the inability to upgrade military units.

Promising reviews, though it's always best to wait a week and wait for actual gamers' reviews to pile in. Wouldn't it be great to get a 4X game with actual meaningful diplomacy for once? Imagine forging alliances, setting up client states, coordinating war targets, backstabbing and being backstabbed by ambitious rivals...

I have never once seen a good review on a 4x game in corporate media. They are too rushed typically to find where the shortfalls are, and early on you can find something a shortfall that you later understand why they made the decision. Same for the inverse of good things. One thing might be seemingly good quality at first, but later it might be a dumb thing the game had.

They don`t know how to play strategy games… so the reviews normally are meaningless…
Game look nice… great… how is the AI? Does the game systems make a sense…
Action games reviews normally are ok… strategy… not so often.
