Every Faction Looks Identical
This is a real killer IMO, I thought the Zulu's would look a bit different than say the French, nope, absolutely identical, such a massive oversight. Ara is incredibly indepth though they completely ♥♥♥♥ themselves when it comes to this and the overall combat in the game.

It's not identical, even the citizens look different. It's just something you have to zoom in to see because in the early ages, everyone is a generic neolithic agrarian society, so your early buildings and people all match.

Look closely at these two caps. The first is Persia's capital, the second is mine (China).

The Persians have flat, sandstone buildings and off-shoulder clothing. Dark skin.

The Chinese have timber-and-tile buildings with elaborate eaves, hair pulled up, lighter skin.

At least I think? Maybe I'm crazy. The buildings definitely differ though.

Damn, thanks, nice dude, I was 1.9hrs, ready to refund, 65 clams is a lot, though this just revitalized my interest.

Military units also look different depending on your civ. I think these are split into largely generic regional "styles" like Korea and Japan have the same style, but that's also how the Civilization series does it.

That's good enough for me, would like to see them flesh this out more going forward, the one thing that Humankind did amazingly well was this aspect, there are literally hundreds of different looking units in the game.

Japan has samurai man at arms. I haven't played with korea yet.

I haven't done a side by side comparison of all their units, some might be more unique. I just know off hand that Korea and Japan use the same buildings into like the middle ages as an example.

That's good to hear, I wished the battles were more dynamic, though overall, still a very solkd game

On a scale of 1-10, what you rate that play through and do you believe it was worth the cost?

Leopold I (Nestor of Europe) will make it much easier to be friendly will all nations. Very useful at higher difficulties.

i miss the ottoman empire or any turk nation... and the clothes of leader don't suits to start era (act 1). This reminds me to civ4/5 whereas leaders had clothes of civs technology. and I don't like the socalled cartoon "settlers of catan" style of the leaders

Yeah, the clothes on the leaders and stuff is an absolute waste, would be cool if their clothing carried over into the game somehow to personalize your faction. I agree, don't like the look of them either. Believe Humankind blows Ara away in this regard.

I will give it strong 7.9 out of 10. Needs some bug fix. I bought it at 10 percent preorder discount. I feel 10 percent discount is worth it. This is the game I will be playing for a very long time. The living world is beautifully done and is very immersive. Since there is more depth in it. Like you really have to look after the welfare of your people as a leader. So it gets you more involved of looking after their needs and wants by providing facilities and ammenities. And also you have a large warfare happening unlike civ. But I want to be involved in the warfare as well. If they improve the warfare aspect in the future I will give it solid 9.5 out of 10 no doubt. Maybe in the future if they improve more I will be giving 10 out of 10.

Yeah same here but it is okay for me since we are looking at the world not the leader most of the time.
