Limit to city size?

Can you just build absurdly tall and just keep adding regions around your capital, or is there a maximum number of regions per city?

I don't think there's any theoretical limit? Though you'll probably more liekly run into an issue where you can't grow enough to increase the size also claims get more expensive as well

There is a limit. I ha planned for much bigger expansion for each city but at the end they all had reached the limit of size 30 (10 million) with no more growth or claims being gained (26 claims in total). This was a disappointment.

30 is a good limit. Otherwise would be impossible keeping a city with the rising QoL expectations (as it is in real life)

As stated, city limit is 30 and nearly as many claims. If you go a certain number of regions away, the claim cost becomes 2 instead of 1. So you can keep growing, but you will have less regions. The largest city would avoid that and just stick with the single cost regions
