Thagg paragon is wrong (according to science)

sorry for boring claim but seems like this game tries to be not only entertaining but educational to some level.
but Thagg that according to game text lived 2.6 million years ago and he's looks in game exactly like h-omo sapiens is absolutely not right according to what science tells us.
h-omo sapiens can't be earlier than 300,000 years ago according to modern paleontology
