DLC Weapon Issue

So i got the game on sale two days ago and i was happy playing and i bought some dlc's but there were 2 that seemed really awesome because they come with cool clothes and weapons so the first was Screen Legends Pack which comes with two outfits and a sword called the everlasting sword which never breaks and i got another dlc called Tactical Soldier which comes with a cool outfit and a assault rifle with an under-barrel grenade launcher and it said they both will be in my apartment. Okay so i used both the weapons already to see what they did and i like them so i start doing missions and after the mission where you talk to popstar for the first time i went back to the apartment and the weapons arent there anymore. Are they only a one time thing or am i doing something wrong. Can anyone help me please i really want to use my weapons again. Thanks

Same crap is happening to me, but I always have 1 weapon at least at my apartment. I have the square enix costume/gun, and the tactical soldier pack with assault rifle and gl. By default my apartment has a gold .50 cal handgun. When I go to switch with Jensen costume, I am given the assault rifle that comes with it. but my handgun disappears. I change to tactical costume, and I get the AR with underbarrel, and again my handgun is gone, but the jensen weapon is still in my aparment. I switch to Hitman costume, and the silverballer replaces my gold 0.50 cal, but none of the assault rifles are in my apartment.

Yea i dont think they will fix it though the only way i get my weapons is if i change to a costume that has the wep preset otherwise bye bye weapon

Same issue for me. I bought the Tactical Soldier Pack among others DLC to play the game for a second time, but I have only saw that weapon no more than three times because it is always missing from my appartment. I have never had the chance to use it ONCE against someone, if I find it, it disappears after a small event, like speaking to someone, changing clothes or driving.

What a ripoff!, I'm kind of regretting buying this weapon DLC. What's the point of buying this or any other DLC if I can't use it...! And the text from the description "Always accessible, grab it whenever you feel the need to unleash a display of force" IS A COMPLETE LIE!

Last DLC I buy for this game, period.
(Although, I still love the game... :P)

theres other threads just like this one.... It happens to me as well, the weapons are random. its supposed to work a certain way (outfits cant transfer guns, some outfits cause the guns in ur apt to go away,,,,etc) but this is obviously bugged for some people.

My weapons appear and disappear regardless of what suit i had or changed into. Sometimes the mach,gun/g.launcher will appear when im using the deus ex skin (w its wep), or ill get the hitman gun spawning randomly on the floor if im in the just cause skin... its buggy...


(although, I still love this game... :P)


but in the end, who needs a gun when you can just get a jade statue and realign peoples jaws with your toes.

Had the same problem, then they respawned after sleeping in the bed.

The story missions are locked into a default outfit and weapon loadout, if any. Being able to take weapons on missions which are designed for melee fighting would totally unbalance the game; basically a cheat. I have the assault rifle and Rico's handgun. These are attached to the outfits that go with them. To get the gun back just go to the wardrobe and replace the outfit with something else then change back. Gun will be there. If you want to carry gun to roam do not use a vehicle from the garage. The gun will disappear. Hijack your ride. The gun will disappear when you go to the martial arts school to turn in statues. The DLC guns are only useful for roaming the city to kill gang members guarding money boxes if you don't feel like fighting them. You can also just run them over. Before starting a mission that involves a fight outside in a vehicle accessible area you can preposition one of your own vehicles (not a hijack they disappear) in the fight area if you want to win quickly by running over gang members or if you really suck at melee like me.

same problem happening on me. at first i suspected save file matter, so i tried to play new game, but it still happens :(
well, at least when i got 1st safehouse, DLC gun and sword are there they should be.

Same thing is happening to me. Changing outfits does nothing, and none of the guns are there. What a lowball move.... screwing thier own customers over. We payed for your crap, now fix it.

Someone can walk, fight, talk to people carring a gun? 'cause I can't, pressing one time the down button does nothing and holding it release the weapon... So, how can I carry a weapon with me?

Rifles you can't holster because where would you put it, any handgun you should be able to holster with a single down press on the button you are using you drop it.

OK what i found out if you want your weapons back go into your house on a bike

sleeping in the bed works for me as well
