Best way to force rain/weather?

Man, everytime my friend comes over he wants to play Sleeping Dogs. Now, I want to show him the night time rain effects but it just never rains at night when he's here hah. Is there a cheat, or some way to force rain? I've tried sleeping and checking outside and then sleeping again etc, but never can get rain at night.

Replay the funeral mission, it's part of the story for it to be raining during the funeral.
