Full Screen
Purchased Dogs a few days ago, I cannot run in full screen or crossfire.

Changing in the settings to fullscreen just flickers and stays in window mode.
Alt+Enter does the same.

I have manually changed the display file to fullscreen 1 still it’s in window mode. I have unplugged all the other monitors from the PC and just have it plugged into a flat screen tv through hdmi.

I tried with crossfire on and off.

All other games I have run fine in full screen, I don’t have any 3rd party multi monitor apps.
I’m running:-

i7 3770k @4.3
Win 7
ASUS HD7770 1gb x2 crossfire
2 SSDs in Raid 0
ATI 12.9 CAP 1

Any hints or tips how I can have the game in full screen with crossfire would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Fixed that worked for me.

(I have a 1080 screen 60hz max)

Start the game, enter display options, change resolution to 1366 x 768 x 59 x 16:9 then change the setting to full screen. This pushed the game to full screen.

Then go back to display options and change to resolution to 1080 and the game is now full screen at 1080.

Have to do this each time I start the game. Crossfire is fully functioning.

do you have teamviewer installed and running? try shutting off. i had the same problem, wouldn't go full screen no matter what, until i killed teamviewer

Disabling Teamviewer solved the problem with fullscreen for me.

I've actually had problems with bing desktop too, programs would keep minimizing to the task bar with BD running....

Can't you just have the monitor display as default to how you would normally have it, and when it goes into windowed mode, just press Alt + Enter :health:

I was able to fix this by chance i ussally play 1920x1080

Now for the FIX change you current resolution to 1024x768 and then that should change the full screen selection that is in the menu to off now change that to on and somehow it switches it to fullscreen then your able to select 1920x1080 if you play that big

The teamviewer running thing is the first advice I've read that worked. Thank you AlexK.

I had this problem, put the game in the lowest res, then switch it to full screen. Once it's done that then increase the res back up to what you want.

Mine is now running just fine in 1920 x 1080

This actually worked for me, thanks!
Also, it's good to see that the devs still haven't fixed this.
