Ideas for Sleeping Dogs 2? Or maybe a prequel

Now to begin with, Square Enix has stated that if Sleeping Dogs sells well and the players love it they would plan on making a sequel for it, even a franchise. Now what would you want for Sleeping Dogs 2?

I know what i want for a sequel :P
- Settings somewhere in south east asia: Indonesia, Malaysia, etc
- new style of martial arts: Silat maybe :P
- more customaization to character


If it's a prequel:
-tell the story of wei's sister
-life in america for Wei Shen

I think the america part should be DLC, could take 6 hours to complete, then the sequal as a game.

America is boring. Let the GTA do that part. This franchise can focus on new stuff like mainland China, Japan and other parts of the the Asia. If they can't figure why the hell Shen would be in Japan, maybe its time for another main character.

I would really like a sequel of Sleeping Dogs, really but, after all that what in the game happend, I mean : So many people died (like Winston, Jackie, Dogeyes, Lee and all the other)
And that mean : Wei Shen is one of the Sun On Yee ``Survivor`` and who is then the ``enemy`` ???
And if it would be a prequel, that mean it wouldn`t be a ``really`` good game.
Why ??? : 1. His sister wouldn`t kill Dogeyes or something. She would maybe only use drugs and work for drugs.
2. If Wei Shen was in Amerika, he wouldn´t do much there because Sleeping Dogs would be just a repetition.
If Sleeping Dogs will have a Second part / game it wouldn`t be EPIC !

I think for this type of game it's better to simply move onto another setting with a new character. Since Sleeping Dogs was originally called True Crime: Hong Kong, the trend with True Crime games was follow one character in one setting then going to a new character in a new setting with that familiar feel of being a cop flick. I honestly don't think a Sleeping Dogs 2 would work with this type of niche.
