Full Screen mode issue....

I bought this game thanks to the steam sales,and I played it a couple hours.I really like it,but now(apparently without a reason) the game doesn't let me enable full screen mode.That is annoyng and I hope that there is a solution.....
I tried alt+enter and changing the options in the game settings,but nothing....the game is still in windowed mode.
I play it on a GTX780 @1150/7000Mhz and a 2600k @4.5Ghz,with a 1920x1080p monitor(75Hz).

hmmm, I have a problem where it keeps wanting to play in windowed but going to options and enabling fullscreen fixes it. Some games have their settings saved in an .txt file, i would look at that and see if you can manually edit it to play in fullscreen (I had to do that in dead island).

Here are some common solutions around the webz:

Turn off Teamspeak/ disable "quick connect" on teamspeak
Change congif file in the game's root folder to say full screen= "1"
Alt+Enter
Try random resolutions.

Here is what worked for me:

I play on my TV so I have my Windows DPI settings at 175%. Returning this value to 100% (default) allowed me to play full screen. Since then I have returned the DPI setting to 175% and have been able to contiue playing full screen.

I have DPI on 100%(default) and I've already tried all the other solutions.
If I set 1366x768 I can enable fullscreen,but I can't go back to 1920x1080,the game stay fullscreen with 768p.....
I haven't config files in the game's root folder.

im also having this issue have tried multiple resolutions.
currently running 2560x1440 and tried right down to 1024x768 still no solution

also where is the config file located?

Steam\steamapps\common\SleepingDogs\Data and the file is DisplaySettings.xml open it with note pad .... ive tryed to fix it manually and also tryed doing the right alt and enter thing doesn't do anything except make the game window flash with white but if i hold right alt enter down it's just lines of white

Same here,i've found a program that make the window borderless,like fullscreen( http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2675769 ),at least now I won't loose the quality of 1920x1080 resolution and I can play the game like it is fullscreen....
This problem is wodespread and very annoying,and the game is at the 2.1 version,I can't believe that the developers still doesn't fix it.

I don't have this issue, but I've noticed the game likes to switch to windowed mode for various reasons. are you using any 3rd party programs, like fraps, or forcing any settings with the nvidia control panel (or afterburner, etc)?

I use sweetfx and AF from nvidia inspector,but I have the problem even if I don't use them.

yeah what is with the game not letting people fullscreen after a couple of hours
