High Resolution Texture Pack Worth It?

So I just downloaded the game and noticed the High Resolution Texture Pack is 4GB! is it worth i?

Du kannst trotzdem das HD Pack nutzen, habe selber die deutsche Fassung.
1. gehe in deinem Internetbrowser (nicht über Steam) auf die österreichische Steam-Shop Seite
2. dort suchst Du Sleeping Dogs
3. wähle das HD-Pack und pack es in den Einkaufswagen
4. wähle Steam-Wallet als Bezahlmethode und 'erwerbe' den DLC
5. jetzt startest Du Steam und der DLC ist in deiner Bibliothek
6. DLC installieren und Spiel starten.... fertig

bei schritt 3 und 4 komm ich schon nicht weiter! da steht nur "Spiel installieren"

'tschuldigung, ich dachte der Fragesteller hätte das Spiel bereits. Du mußt das Spiel installiert haben, die Schritte beziehen sich nur auf die nachträgliche "Aufrüstung" auf HD-Texturen.

Bei mir startet das Spiel nach Installation des HD Packs nicht mehr, es kommt zum bekannten White Screen Fehler.

After installing the texture hd package the game did not start anymore (white screen Crash). I had to disable the HD textures in the video settings, now it works.

Check to see if your hardware can run it. I have a recently built rig with a mid-range card, and the game will refuse to use the high res pack. The draw distances are incredible, so you need the absolute top of the line GPU's to make use of the pack.

It looks great, and any little bit helps considering the lack of mods compared to say GTAIV. Worth it as long as your frame rate doesnt drop below playable.
