♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I wish I had known about this before I bought the game. I hate WASD. I hate it, hate it, hate it. Lots of tiny, identical leys right next to each other. And I'm not buying a 30 dollar controller just to play this stupid game. Never would have purchased it had I known.

i m left handed nad i have to just leran to play right handed it makes mouse control a pain, the only thing i can say i find some software online that will rmap the keying from the keyboard itself most razor and logitech keybaord g series keyboards have offical software but im sure you can find some generic third party stuff that will work with any board

All other issues aside, the free (on Windows at least) AutoHotKey is a lefty's best friend in these situations. When key remapping is missing, in most cases all you need is a brief key-substitution 'script' (so minimal, it is hard to call them scripts even) such as (for example):

W::Numpad5
S::Numpad2
A::Numpad1
D::Numpad3
LAlt::NumpadAdd, etc.

Set up a 'My WSAD' generic 'script' for most cases, and tailor the script (key substitution table) to specific games and save with the game's name. AutoHotKey is the Lefty's Best Friend.

Hope this is at least a helpful reminder about a FREE and incredibly useful utility.

I just found out the same thing after buying the game. Then when I tried to find a solution I find out that the sleeping dog forums are full of this problem. It's been almost 1 year and still no fix - there never will be one. The forum moderators over there just tell everyone, tough crap. Use a 3rd party program because we're to busy making other games to rip you off with and can't be bothered to fix the junk that we already have your money for.

AutoHotkey in this game sucks because it makes the forward button stick so you get stuck in the running position which causes you to run into walls and get stuck on them and eventually just die. GlovePIE does the same thing. This game has seriously got a lot of problems. The keys, the camera, and the unresponsive button mashing. It's a rage inducer at best.

" AutoHotKey is the Lefty's Best Friend."

I agree....but not for this game. It simply sticks and makes the game unplayable.

So I use the NumberPad for directional movement, but that in itself sucks for the fighting portion.

Thanks for the heads up. If a game does not allow key remapping and in particular remapping to the arrow keys I will not buy it. It's also the sign of a company that just does not care about it's customers. I think I'll take a pass on their future games as well.

I to wish I would have checked into this game, but I must say this is the first game I have ever come accross that does not allow you to change the dam keys. Live and learn. It's getting uninstalled and deleted and anything else I can do to it. The autohotkey ? The page has been discontinued. You can still get the program it looks like but Im not installing 3rd party crap to run the game. Will definatly check any Square games for this before I puirchase any more of there games.
