2 Control fixes from the options menu

I was unable to shoot while driving and the camera was locked to the motion of vehicles.

In Game and Control options, i disabled vibration, disabled raw mouse, made sure it was keyboard/mouse only and disabled soft-lock aiming. I then bound "free aim weapon" to its own button. By default it shares action hi-jacking.

I am now able to shoot from boats and cars, and i can look any direction independantly of the driving motion. Looking around corners and backing up is just like GTA now.

You shouldn't disable raw mouse input, it reads your mouse directly from the hardware level bypassing game filters. It's generally something you want on.

I have had no adverse effects and it enables me to use the mouse to look around while driving.With it enabled driving is extremely un-enjoyable to down right unplayable.

You're talking about free mouse look, has nothing to do with raw input

Raw input reads your mouse from the hardware level for more accurate mouse movements

i hear you, But i am also talking raw mouse input. My game functions much, much better with it disabled. It isnt even a question, the game is nearly unplayable with it on.

Then you have something wrong with your windows settings / driver settings for your mouse, because the in-game filtered mouse control shouldn't ever be better than what it reads directly from windows

shouldnt be, but it is for many people. I am not the only one this solved issues for. doesnt matter, i can play and now i only have a few missions left in the YotS before i ahve done everything.
