The Sleeping Dogs Social Hub service is not available.
Hello, hello!
So tonight I have tried to launch my SD game, choose storyline and then got an error.

(The Sleeping Dogs Social Hub service is not available. Please try again later.)

This problem has occurred before and there was only one answer - servers are down.
I look for other solutions in various forums, including the official square enix forum and I've found many of them. After spending two hours in hope to solve this problem I've asked my friend to launch the game and check Social Hub activity, in his game - it works fine. Then I keep trying to re-install my game, checking cache (after this game download something for 7,4mb), disabled antivirus, but nothing helps. So I've asked my other friend to check it and he got the same problem. Then he bought 2 new dlc, installed it to game, but problem wasn't solve. And then I remembered that today was automatic update for 167 mb. I don't know what it is, but after this Social Hub is not available.

If some of you got the same problem, please write down. And I'm appreciated for any tips and help.

Also, right now my friend and I keep trying to get access in sleepingdogs.net, career/leaderbords tab. When I click on Career tab it ask me to log in or register, but I'm already logged in to my account. And leaderboards tab isn't active.

I have been having this problem since I bought the game in November. There were a couple of threads about it but I think they have gotten buried. As of now no one has any fixes for it and SE has been pretty quiet about it. I've given up on hoping they will fix this issue since it seems to only affect some people

no no no. I will not leave this problem as is, will keep writing to support until they solve it .

Well, if you manage to get a solution/fix out of them. Repost it here so the rest of us can use it.

I also have this problem. Reading the sleeping dogs forums is horrible. they direct people to the tech support, then the tech support doesn't say anything or super vague "reinstall steam" etc etc....

Square are aware of this problem and are trying to fix it. Please if you have this problem and can help by providing a few screenshots and a few details, please go to http://forums.sleepingdogs.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3440&p=40938#p40938 , and post.

They are also looking for someone who had access and lost it so if that's your case again please post there with the details required.

It's not a major feature, but it is a fun one, and i for one would love to see them fix this.

Of course! Square Enix support request for DxDiag and Msinfo32 files to have a proper look into my system. Well I hope it can help.

Yeah..it looks something like that. I didnt receive any emails from them since may 2013.

I wrote to them a couple of days ago and that's what they answered to me:

We are so sorry that we have not been in touch regarding this issue, and that your issue has not been resolved as yet.
Unfortunately, it appears as though there is no fix for this issue at the moment, after escalating this issue to our Head Office, we have not managed to find any solution.
We understand this is very frustrating, and we apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused you. Please do not hesitate to contact us again if you have any further questions, and again we apologize that we cannot help you any further with this matter.

I think we can all agree that this is total bull but that we didn't expect much more at this point.

I started playing this game 5 days ago and it said the social hub was unavailable from the very beginning. It hasn't worked even once.

well last week social hub was working for me. but starting monday it doesnt work and its very annoying.


well when you hit ESC button it works. but in game you cant track your progress real time.
