And maybe you dont get any replies because you make idiotic threads with idiotic questions and are to lazy to google or use your brain. Maybe disengage all controllers from your pc.....
Because this is a classic case of having a controller on your PC but being to stupid to realize it. Also steering wheels and flight sticks counts a s a controller.
Same thing happened to me - menu options stuck in rapid cycle, impossible to select anything.
I have more than 50 Steam games, and none have this issue except Pool Nation, State of Decay, and Sleeping Dogs. I believe it to be a fault with these games.
The workaround...
1. Make sure the game is not running.
2. Go to Control Panel > Device manager > Human Interface Devices, and disable all the HID-Compliant devices and USB Input Devices. All of them, just leaving your mouse active (keyboard cannot be disabled). If you accidentally disable your mouse while disabling all those other things, just use your keyboard to re-enable it.
Now, start the game and the rapid menu scrolling problem has gone.
If disabling those drivers in the device manager has some unwanted effect, simply re-enable them. I have found that disabling them didn't hurt anything else, so I'm not sure what their purpose was.
Thx a lot this worked , and everything works perfectly fine , no problems , thx a lot
