Report a translation problem
I'm not familiar with the Pro Controller, but I am familiar with x360ce and I remember there being lots of problems with Sleeping Dogs. I think there was a fix for it, I'll try to find out how I fixed it. What I know now is that I use a PS4 controller, and around the time I started playign Sleeping Dogs, I also started using a tool for the PS4 controler that just makes it work perfectly. Still, I'm pretty sure there's a fix that uses x360ce.
Anyway I'm planning to get a new controller.

Short noob friendly example how x360ce works, first link still has all files needed.
This worked for my DS4, give it a try! Hope it helps :) I'm using DS4 To Xinput Mapper software.
