Is anybody else disappointed with sleeping dogs definitive edition?

plus we allready have the hd texture pack on steam and can play 1080p already

I am, it just feels like this updated re-release was not needed.

The graphics don't even look much better than the original game if i should say what i think.

I don't think it's needed on PC. Different for consoles, especially for those that haven't played it but even $15 seems a lot for what? A HD re-release for a HD game.

You won't be getting Sleeping Dogs 2. You'll be getting Triad Wars instead, which is planned to be released early 2015.

I am a little dissapointed as well, for me the it was the way they handled the DLC. In the original it was all just there ready to use and totally optional now if you want it you either buy it a store for a hefty sum of cash which now renders the red envolope dlc to be forced towards the dlc outfit/cars in order to maintain a balance in your cash, and the fighting arena dlc's have not showed up yet which was awesome to have right away so you could just mess up some dudes whenever you want for how long you want.

I am very certain that the top dog packs were removed, I liked these as a new game plus feel. They could have just made it optional instead of completely removing it.

Also for the Retro Triad outfit you could wear the hair,gloves, and glasses seperate from the suit now it's just a full suit(I don't know why this bothers me but i liked wearing the gloves).

For me the origianl feels like a more definitive experience but this is just my opinion, but if you haven't played the game you wouldn't notice these things and probably would enjoy it but it seems you can only buy the definitive one now so if you want it and have never played it go ahead and buy it.

i already bought it when it was on preorder buying it preorder u automaticlly got the high resolution , bought the dlcs i wanted technically i don't see much of a diffrence ,,,to me it's like throwing 15 bucks out the window just for a better graphics for which most likely won't notice a diffrence

i downloaded sleeping dogs hd texture pack dlc too and I see no difference of the new version for consoles and the normal version with the free hd texture pack, for the definition version it would be a deal if it has all dlc

If you take in the normal price of Sleeping Dogs and then add in the two story DLCs, you're actually getting a really good deal. I also heard that the new edition is also a 64-bit executable, which is also a big plus.

However, it only seems like a good deal if you never owned Sleeping Dogs. If you already own it, the "upgrade" price is a gip.

They force you to buy the DLCs. Thats it. If you want the game you will pay all that crap you didnt want before. Suits included. And we will sell it to you like the new awesome version all people love.

the diffrence is the controls its not like the older version counter attack with the right button etc now its the e button

This version is not made for PC, but for the next gen consoles , doesn't do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for pc, every review states this

I was disapointed too,the original worked well with 32bit with this?minimum 64bit....that raged me out
