heating issues
anyway check the game cache
No , my pc is always at 23 degrees or less ...I always check during gaming.
Anyway I run Skyrim at ultra setting during 5-6 hours and my pc is always at 22-23 degree so....
I've checked the game's cache as well.

My config ( my pc is only 6-7 month old , very very cleaan , no dust )

FX-8320 MSI
Radeon HD 7850 2 GO
8 gig

The game run very smooth , 60 fps all the time... And I repeat , Sleeping Dogs is the only game that shut my pc...

i to have the same problem, the screen goes red and shutdown

Check for GPU, & MoBo driver updates. Usually it is heat that will cause the problem you are having, but because you said temps are good I am guessing an out of date driver.

Also check all of your connections inside your tower.
lol...No its not my tower...I said and repeat..its not the tower....I have 25 game that run perfectly 60 fps ( skyrim , MH , and more ) and the ONLY , the ONLY one that shut off the pc is Sleeping Dog ( that run even more smoothly than Skyrim ) . If it was pc's problem , everygame will be affected , same for the drivers no ?
But when it shut , my screen doesnt turn red like you...

And every drivers is already up to date....

it's not your CPU heat, it's the GPU ... The game usually crashes for me when it pushes my GPU past 74c.
Methesula Apr 19, 2014 @ 3:50pm
incidentally NO OTHER GAME does this. So far it's only Sleeping Dogs.
Hmmmm...I have a degree monitor in front of my tower..So its the overall temperature in the pc ...So its pretty impossible that my Card be at high temperature ..Because it would influance the front temperature as well (who is always at 23 or less )

Example : my card is at 75 degree...SO my fmy tower's temperature would be higher than 23 degree....Isnt it ?

And how SD make degree go high like that ?
Mathesula and other who have the same problem as me : Did you downloaded the HD texture pack ? Maybe its because of this no..?

What power supply are you running?
Andar Apr 20, 2014 @ 9:09am
That's not really a lot of information on the power supply, and with prebuilds like that the PSU is usually the first thing that gets skimped on. Is it possible for you to look through the side window (or take the side panel off) and relist the exact name and 12v ratings? They'll be on a sticker on the side of the PSU. It may not be your problem, but Sleeping Dogs is quite a bit more demanding than some of the other games you've mentioned.

ok let see....

HMW ATX power supply /// ATX 12 v 2.2

Model : XG-H600

But can you explain me something because i cant understand something....When a game is lagging ( example..Skyrim full ultra with full HD mods and all ) If the game run at 12 fps...The graphic card cant run good enough to run at 60 fps , so it take the same ''energy amount '' than a game that run smoothly like Sleeping dog ?
