Anyone else think the ending was kinda crap? *spoilers*

Well i don't mean the ending fight i mean the actual end, his best bud dies and the leader of the gang was murdered, i thought wei shen would quit police work to run the gang, does "if i die you gotta run things around here" mean anything to him?

no. i think it hit him, but you have to remember, he was a cop, first and foremost, and secondly do you think Anyone in the triad would accept him after it was outed that he was an undercover cop? jiang pretty much just pardoned him, made it so no one went after him to give him the "traitor treatment" But he was still an undercover cop, they would sooner kill him than let him back in, regardless of whether he wanted to or not.

They talked about it, Pendrew said he deserved to be outed, wei told raymond about how he did it, and Tong called him officer shen, also the envelope from jiang that incriminated pendrew Had "officer shen" written on it, and at the end jiang is in the limo and is asked what they should do with him, and she says to let him be. and heh, i think that honestly Winstons mom liked him, regardless of whether he was a cop or not. also he did bring her the rat guy, and dog eyes

I guess i should pay attention to games a little more before i ask a question, but on a side note i hated when i seen jackie dead

oh god yeah. i mean it happened so soon after we saved him, i was expecting it before that, but after we saved him i thought, "oh my god he has a chance, he can go live happily with that girl and it'll all be fine" then they effing blindsided us with that the very effing next mission and my first thought was just "NOOOOOO You ******** YOU TRICKED ME!"

Jackie death kinda shocked me, but i expected it.
I had two endings in my head, one like it was and one with Wei and Jackie being both alive and going out of gang and HK, because they talked about it.

my other ending was finding out jackie turned snitch and wei forgiving him about it and saying "dude me tooooo!!!!"

The ending was kinda weak,but Pendrew got what he deserved.They could ahve showed him getting shanked in prison.

my thoughts for sleeping dogs 2 is that either something happens to wei and he gets either kicked off the police force and joins back the triads to achieve some goal, Or the more likely one, in which its just a new character.

The ending was fine. You really have no idea what is on the horizon for any of them. This will pay off if they connect Tiad Wars with this story. I suggested that Wie goes apeschitt as a ultra gangster now with ties to HKPD, interpol, the Triad and Penrose in the prison, and now you have to play inspector Tang to bring him down. Many clasic Kungfu movies feature women as the main hero. I am the king of good ideas. One day everyone will understand this, and the world will be a better place.

lol, I personally dont think he'd go like apeshz evil, The people that affected him the most, winston, peggy, jacky. They were all good influences on him, friendship, family, and love. So if anything, something will draw him back into the triads and maybe he'll ask teng for help and do the same as last time except by being an actual triad and not undercover.
