Weird 'arrow' icon on 'Central' mini-map.

So, i got this icon which looks like an arrow in my minimap, in a place at Central quarter.

Pic 1[s30.postimg.org] - Standing near the arrow icon
Pic 2[s17.postimg.org] - Standing at the icon itself
Pic 3[s27.postimg.org] - A look from the upper highway section
Pic 4[s13.postimg.org] - Where it is on the map (Central area)

Anyone knows its purpose?
It kinda looks like that i need to drive throu the missing ledge area on pic 3, but i have driven through it many times and i havent gotten anything from it.

Its not. I made sure jade statue icon looks different. Also i took them all. Game is 100% finished while pic was taken.

I just figured out what this arrow is. It's an "Insane Jump" or something like that. It's a sort of super jump and when you hit it it the game goes into slow motion and there's a message. I think Pic 3 is the jump. From what I can tell these are jumps that will take from on road to another road. I hit a giant dirt pile (that's now the same "arrow" icon on my map as yours) and I launched on to a freeway overpass in slo-mo.

I did that jump, i had a super car and the jump had a slow mo part, but the arrow is still dark grey. It doesnt makes any sense, since anything u collect in the game turns from dark grey into bright grey in the minimap, why is this still dark?

Every time I collect something the icon dissapears from the minimap. I'm thinking that these icons only appear on the minimap once you actually make the jump and remain there to remind you where they are. That's just my guess but I didn't see the icon until after I made the jump.

I will try and start a new game to see if its there.. Lucky for me the entire city is reachable at any time progress :P
I still highly doubt this is the reason, since, again, it should be bright grey if it means 'completed'.

They are jumps. The icon only appears once you've actually used it. Since there's no trophy or achievement tied to these jumps the icons don't change color. The specific use for these jumps, which I think the message I mentioned before poitns out, is to evade the police.

Thanks for the links. I will try to get the police after me (best to do wit hthe security vans side missions) and then take the jump, to see if something happens. The people at the links specified different locations btw. I only saw this tho.
