Remastered Version?

I own the original version in my steam list but never played it.

I assume I'd need to buy the remastered version to play that - no free upgrade right?

Is it worth playing the remastered version these days or still look like crap (eg versus modern games)

I haven't yet played much of the remaster due to not wanting to redo all again but I plan to play it on my steam deck.

No free upgrade but no rebate for upgrade? If it's no longer there, just wait for a sale

It's much better except minus some NPC models and neo glow missing stupidly lol. World density is a game changer. Run a bit worst tho but today it should not be much of an issue.
