Standard vs Definitive Edition system requirements
I have the Definitive Edition on steam and can't play it too well and was wondering how the standard version compared and if it's worth trying to get the standard version of the game through other sites?

Standard edition is supposed to be much better optimised. I can't see any digital downloads from it any more (found one for the censored German version which you want to avoid!) but physical copies activate on Steam, such as:
