Standard vs Definitive Edition

Hi guys!!

I've just seen that a "Definitive Edition" is avaiable for Sleeping Dogs.

At first sight i thought it was only some new DLC content, but it looks like it'a an upgraded game.

So my questions are:

- What's the real difference between these two? New content? Graphics improved?
- If i buy Definitive Edition when i already have the original game, will i have another game or only the missing content?

When displaying on shop it doesn't say it's on my library btw (considering it as another game then).

No point buying definitive if you have original, original looks better due to the "definitive edition" just being a 2nd console edition for ps4/xbone.

This obviously won't apply to everyone, but I personally couldn't even get the definitive edition to run on my computer... It would just give me a white screen, so I had to get a refund. Based on that and all the feedback I've heard, there's no point in making the switch if you already own the original.

I have both, I only play the original one. The definitive edition had more bugs in the first two hours of playing it than I encountered in all the hours of playing the original game combined.

Original+DLC is way better IMO (played hundreds of hours of both vesrions - non steam).

Definitive edition mostly just adds crap you don't even want, such as fog pointlessly EVERYWHERE.

In the original/standard edition, if that is correct, you could date each girl 3 times correct? Because in the definitive edition, it seems you can only date the girls once adding the first time Wei and the girl meets(So that is twice)I really need to know. I have a feeling the original is better and I have no idea why the devs would remove features like the dating 3 times feature.

Glad to see this thread. They didn't offer a discounted upgrade for previous owners, I can play the original then.
