Thanks guys!
Now there may be issues left with the gameplay that can/should be improved but at least I should (hopefully) be able to play the game as it is without crashing.
Our next patch should be coming in towards the end of the week. Steam cloud saves will be done, and multiplayer coop should be much more stable.
We're mulling over the whole ladder situation, and thinking about a viable solution which doesn't break game balance, etc. Hopefully we'll have something quick.
Thank you for your continued support.
I'm sorry about that, but the save data might not be valid anymore. We tried to make it backwards compatible, but it wasn't possible with the changes that were done.
I think they didn't just mix together a game and waited for the community to respond.
The smarter solution would have been to release the game a week later and eliminate all those nasty bugs. In this case the first patch could have solved the "ladder problem" (removed them from the game!) and other major issues.
Guess they don't care so much for publicity and trust in us to realize their effort to make an average game with potential a good one.
Sometimes I try to remember the times when internet updates weren't possible and a released game was playable as it should... I guess the effort to create something "perfect" is non-existent these days.
Because with small indie team, it's impossible to test all possible hardware configurations. A lot of people don't have these bug/crash listed above, but I have the impression that a lot of people have this problem because the majority of people who played without crash will not come here to the forum. The biggest budget game on earth, will also have bug/crash. Example, I play all blizzard games. At the launch of World of Warcraft, I got a lot of blackscreen and crash after 1-2hours of play time. I also got bug in the beginning of starcraft 2 and Diablo 3. Blizzard released patch to fix the bugs. And Blizzard have huge budget for their game. Indie teams, well, not so much. It's the problem of the PC gaming, too much wide range hardware possibility :( . It's sadly a reality of this industry.
