It's on sale in the summer sale.
Exactly
The ORIGINAL master system version is sweet. The arcade that came out AFTER the home versions is HIGHLY detailed, probably a true 16 bit game. If you can find the arcade or any version either emulate or buy them. Th Choplifter games are all pretty fun. So is Thunder Wolves. I wish they made more games like these. Or they remade the sega genesis versions of the Strike series that would be pretty damn awesome.
Not quite correct.
The original Choplifter is the 1982 Apple II release which was then ported to several Atari systems, Colecovision, VIC20 and the C64.
In 1985 Sega got the rights and created the Arcade Remake which was then first ported to the MSX, and then the Master System in 1986 (while Jaleco at the same time created their own version for the NES, based on the Sega Arcade version)
I'm also actually a bit shocked that some people don't even know Choplifter anymore...
I like the game and the only downside is that missions are not diverse enough (actually it's ok, as game is rather short, but I would like to have additional missions if they would present more diverse tasks, like first zombie mission, where you must protect hospital)
