I checked the page again I think Im gonna buy it and give it a try. The game looks pretty good.
Also, just a couple of QoL features/settings ideas:
1. Toggle run/walk would be great
2. Options for cursor memory (ex. having the game remember that I previously selected yes to cut down a bush, so that the next time I do it's defaulted to yes instead of no.)
I wasn't able to find settings for these, so if they already exist, I'm dumb and I'm sorry.
Additionally, I am playing on Steam Deck, so this may not be a bug for everyone, but anytime there's a transition from walking into a new area or through a door, my screen kind of flashes and very briefly, a different screen pops in before popping back over to where my character actually is. Usually it's the bedroom in the player's house.
1. The function for the tab key is on the L3 key on the controller. Not a major issue but it would be nice to have it on a more accessable button.
2. Depending on the colour scheme you use for the menus, the numbers turn unreadable because its white on white for example.
3. When I open the links for the social medias in the game the game for some reason does in the browser which is not set as default. I use Chrome and Opera as browser. Chrome is the default, but the links open in Chrome. Not sure if that is because of the game or a windows setting.
Also i started playing it with a controller, but i switched to keyboard and mouse and wonder if that helped fix the evolve bug
It wouldn't be quite so noticeable, but I somehow managed to catch a level 45 Whismud with a fishing rod and had been using it to stomp the game up to that point, when the Excalipurr in the second slot suddenly power-levelled to 47 in one battle. I tried it again, and wound up with 'mons powering up to level 54 and 36 in one shot. Made the Magma fight a lot easier.
The evolution screen started doing strange things too; It kept previous 'mon on the screen behind the monster that was currently evolving, causing some weird aberrations to happen. I'm not sure if it's related or not.
