I can't make the first launch of the game
When you click "Launch" in Steam, after two seconds of loading (the green bar indicating that you are playing Assassin's Creed: Revelations turns green), the game crashes and you have to click "Play" again in Steam. I have also tried running the game using the Ubisoft launcher, but that didn't help either. Adding keys to my Ubisoft account didn't work either. Reinstalling the game didn't solve the problem either. Checking the integrity of files and clearing the download cache didn't do anything either. Running Steam and Ubisoft Connect as administrators didn't help either. The game simply doesn't start, nothing happens, it just rolls back the download and asks me to click again. I'm running Windows 10 and my computer is a fairly powerful gaming machine (i5-13600KF, RTX 4080 Super, 32GB I've tried everything I can think of, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas on how to solve this issue? Additionally, when I try to manually launch the game from the root folder, I get an error message when trying to launch the application (0xc000007b) when running the exe file as administrator.

Hello trava, I am sorry that you are having issues launching Assassin's Creed Revelations. We'll try to fix this together.

Could you please let me know the following info:
- Screen resolution and refresh rate
- GPU drivers version
- Are you using any third party antivirus/firewall?
- Are you using any third party overlays?
- Is your PC overclocked?
- Are you using more than 1 monitor?

Thank you.

Thank you for your continued updates and for answering those points.

The issue you are experiencing will often show if you are not logged in to the correct Ubisoft account that is linked to your Steam account. You can check your linked accounts using the Ubisoft account website. [x.com]

If you are using the correct account or do not have one already linked then I would recommend to follow the below steps:

- Ensure you have Ubisoft Connect [ubi.li] installed and updated
- Launch Steam using admin rights [ubi.li] to ensure permissions are granted.
- Try to have both the game and Ubisoft Connect and Steam on the same drive

Should you then continue to have trouble, just let us know and we will be happy to help
