Why do my parachutes disappear suddenly?

I started the game and had zero parachutes. I was a bit confused because I usually never let them go to zero so I bought some more but today I had zero again. And I haven't used a single one of them. Why does the game always take my parachutes?

I just started the game, yesterday, and they have disappeared from my inventory 3 times. I bought 15, last time, starting Seq 6, but they disappeared going into or leaving the course you do for the hidden armor after collecting the 10 pages. Quite annoying and doesn't make sense as old as the game is. The issue should have been fixed... as with the issue when initially opening the game. No reason to alter files to make it playable.

Sorry to hear your parachutes are disappearing! Are you noticing them being used randomly at any point whilst completing other unrelated actions in-game?

Are you noticing this at any particular points such as entering/leaving cutscenes, combat, etc?

No. They don't get used. I buy some, then don't use them and suddenly they're all gone at once. I haven't noticed when it happens.

No. They don't get used. I buy some, then don't use them and suddenly they're all gone at once. I haven't noticed when it happens.

I'm sorry, I don't think I will. I finished the game and I don't know how to go back to the point where it happened.

This just happened to me too. I just bought 15 (after they mysteriously disappeared) and then immediately ran through the Maiden's Tower. Upon completing that, I noticed I had 0 left despite not having used a single one.
