Report a translation problem
All our games need to be authenticated through Ubisoft Connect, so this launcher will also install alongside our games on Steam. Fortunately, it is only used for authentication - you'll otherwise not have to use it besides it automatically authenticating your game when you start it up.
When you say it is installing a second time, does it seem like Ubisoft Connect is re-downloading everything (after Steam already did so)?
If you could give me a bit more information on what has happened when trying to install, I'll be in a better position to advise you on a solution

Yeah i understand, although is pretty annoying to have ubisoft connect start everytime i launch the game and asking me to login every time.
And what i meant is after i installed AC Revelations, ubisoft connect opened up and started another download for the exact game, so i don't understand why i need to install it twice (first with steam and then again with ubisoft connect).
Thanks for your answer, but i already found i could ask ubisoft connect to start offline and is no longer asking me to login everytime or delaying the startup.

Hey,
I'm sorry to hear that it's not accepting your login details when trying to launch the game. Please can you give these steps a try before trying to launch it and see if it logs you in and resolves it for you.
1. Log in your Ubisoft Connect PC client
2. Open menu > Log Out
3. Launch client again and enter your login e-mail in lowercase + password. Check remember me box.
4. Enter 2FA (if any)
5. Exit client and launch it again.
