AC Revelation offline mode
I recently bought Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Revelations through Steam. I downloaded and installed both of them. But, when I run AC Revelations, I receive this message and can't play online or download the DLCs:

"You are about to play offline mode. You will not have acess to:
Multiplayer Mode
Extra Content
Friends
Uplay

Return to the launch and login with your ubisoft account to acess these features."

P.s.: When I run the game, I'm logged normally on Steam and Uplay.

Just launched the game today. Recieved the same error. Changing the Regional Format to match you Region (in Windows Region settings) fixes the issue.

So whats your question? You can still play the games in single player mode whether you're in online mode or offline mode. In offline mode your game will save on your computer. When your in online mode your game will save on Uplay cloud. When that message pops up it means Uplay lost connection with your internet. Just check your internet and try logging into online mode

The problem is that I can not play multiplayer and install my DLCs, the game just goes offline, the multiplayer option is grayed out (and also the option to put the codes activation of DLCs) and appears when I click "Logging in to Ubisoft server. Please wait ... "for hours.

ahhh I see. Well heres what I do. I set my Uplay account to go into offline mode everytime I start up a game. You can change that in your Uplay settings. Even though the game starts up in offline mode, the multiplayer option isnt grayed out. So try that it might work. If it doesnt than it might be your internet because I rarely see my multiplayer grayed out

no, online or offline in Uplay the multiplayer option is still gray ... The problem is not with my internet CONNECTION, because i already tested on another computer and internet network.
I already contacted the support of ubisoft and they told me to reinstall the Uplay, steam and the game. And also that Uplay is having some problems ... etc.

I wanted to play multiplayer so much =(

I would recommend only reinstalling Uplay. Steam never has problems and I really doubt its the actually game that has the issue. I also doubt that they are having issues because I played AC Revelations today... Oh wells good luck!

I know... I reinstalled uplay several times and didn't work =/
I don't know if I'll buy "black flag" if this problem not solution...

I had the same problem today. What I finally did was two steps, and I'm not sure which step of these solved it.

1. I changed my password for the uplay account, because I had special characters inside (ß). Now, I have chosen a password without these kind of really special characters.

2. I switched (in the right corner in uplay) the preferences to "Start uplay always in offline mode". saved it, and after that switched this property off again and saved again.

After this two steps it worked for me. Try it out, maybe it will help you...

I had the same issue and looks I solved it changing the password as said by pmmd above, actually there was a special character in the mine too...

I had the same problem and I solved it by removing the special characters from my UPLAY password ... as stated above by pmmd.

What fixed it for me was to change my regional formatting (time, date, currency etc.) to match my system language from English (Europe) to English (US)

Thank you exactly changing password fixed my game too, I coudnt connect any online features, now everything is working
