ACRSP.exe has stopped working

i recently bought assassin's creed revolution from steam and played via u-play. but when i launched via u-play, it worked fine but when it went to the main menu, it crashed and said ACRSP.exe has stopped working. please help?

im using window 7 64bit home premium with a i5 3.00ghz , 8gb ram and a nvidia gtx 555

Me as well. The game starts, and after the disclaimer stating the differing religious views of the team, immediately crashes. Kind of annoying, as I can't play it at all.

This happened to me except it did not crash directly to windows it just black screened and made me have to shut off my computer completely. I disabled crossfire as I have 2 amd cards and now it works.

If this is happening for anyone else - open the settings menu in Uplay, and disable the in-game overlay. It can cause the game to crash. Also try running the game in safe mode (Uplay safe mode, not Windows safe mode) by clicking the arrow next to 'Play game' and selecting safe mode.

guys go to the assasins creed folder and delete systemdetection.dll
it works for me

Same problem here. Deleting the systemdetection.dll did not change a thing.

Remember to disable SLI and CrossFire. The game do not work with dual/multi GPUs. :(

I'm deleted this game and uplay Launcher, then re-installed it again.. but i found same problem
then re-install windows 7-64bit ultimate .. but still not working

today I'm using my friend's uplay account in my pc and my steam account .. it's Work !!

how can i fixed this problem in my uplay account ?

I can't seem to find the DLL everyone is talking about but myh game crashes about every 10 minutes. Mostly during cutscenes it seems; though there is a cutsceen every 10 minutes anyways...

Same problem--crashes to black screen before anything loads. Quite upset with ubisoft right now.

Same here. Tried deleting the dll file, disabled overlay and tried launching in safe mode.

As soon as the game is supposed to start after the intro video it's crashing.
