Unable to use PC Xbox controller

It's connected, the option is there, but when selected it still doesn't let me use it. Odd?

Mine works but all the buttons are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, such as the run button is Start button on controller...and everythings are ♥♥♥♥, and i try to change the settings but it doesnt allow me to register as LT or RT button...zzz

This can be several things, but it would be helpful to know things like OS, Specs, etc.
Did you try installing the Xbox360 driver from MS?

I'll download the latest, pretty sure I have it. Mine is wired too 123. I'll try again tomorrow, have to go babysite for my parents tonight =/

mine used to work, then i uninstalled and reinstalled and now it won't

I had to set the control type to game pad in the game options to get it to work after installing on a new machine. You can rebind the controls there as well.

You need to download a zip file in this page, unrar and paste de tow files .ini and .dll in your game folder, then the xbox 360 option appears in the game menu. It works for me.

OMFG dude you are awesome. I wasted my whole freakin day on this game. Part of it was not getting the game to recog the Xbox ONE wireless controller for Windows, now because of ur post my controller can be recognised! THANK YOU!

Now if i can just get the game to output in Ultra WS with Soft-TH i'll be happy!

can anyone help me with this?? i put the xniput file into the game folder and nothing. googled it and no answers. i have all drivers installed all that controller works fine on every other game i have. i just spent 20$ on this game and if i cant use the controller itll be a waste. please help

Not work with PS4 wireless controller at all. The options still not appear.

The menus worked for me but at the start of the game I got screen flicker and my controller didn't seem to be working properly and I fixed it very easily by following the instructions on this you tube video. It's super easy.

No, you dumb, controller worked with the game, but can't customize in-game.
