Question about Revelations - Gold Edition
Pretty much because the sale page only had the standard edition listed, I missed out on the fact that for just £1 more I could have got all the DLC with Revelations. So I have the standard edition of the game and I was wondering, if I bought the Gold Edition now, would I get all the DLC and have the extra copy of the game put in my Steam inventory for trading? Or does it not work like that? Thanks.

This is a good question. My understanding per the page linked below is that you will only get extra game copies to gift for a small number of games or wherever explicitly mentioned in a Steam deal. So for your case described above, no :-(

You could try mailing Steam Support and explaining your situation. I would think they would be sympathetic enough to give you a chance to purchase the deluxe edition so that you save money and get all the content.

I really have no idea but i can tell you this : if you bought the standar edition it was for 10.19 USD ? so if you buy the gold edition it will be + 13.59 USD = 23.78(24) , but if you buy just the all the dlc you will have : 10.19+8.13 USD = 18.32 (19) so you will save 5$. Also you can avoid to buy the traveler map pack wich contains 6 map ( i played until now 20hours of AC revelations multiplayer and i don't remember playing in one of these maps ) . I even tryed to searsh some game modes in those maps but no party was found ) .

Don't know about this game, but from buying Assassin's Creed 2 bundle with the DLC, it all came in one package. I couldn't separate the game from the DLC and they transfered and installed as one.

So if i had to guess from previous Assassin's Creeds i would say no. But you can buy the DLC separate on sale. Two packs are just multiplayer map packs, one is a story pack so i mean what are you really looking to do? If you are looking for the multiplayer then you would be missing out, but as someone who has played through the series many many times, the multiplayer is okay at best and you wouldn't be missing much. Although the multiplayer in ACIII was very good.

I am probably going to buy this pack as well later today, i will update this thread for you when i find out either way.

Thanks for the replies. From what I've heard, the multiplayer is down anyway so only one of the expansions would have been worth anything and buying that standalone barely raises the price above what I paid for it. I appreciate all your answers. :)

The DLC's are some Valve Portal minigame built inside that i did not want.

Some MP Maps and characters but you can only use the MP characters since NOBODY plays the new maps. UBI divided the playerbase and were asked not to do this but they did it anwyay.

Cant think of what else there was............

THE ACR MP IS NOT DOWN ATM.

I was referring to the time prior to AC3 release. They took ACR MP away for weeks at that time and not now. As far as i know it works at the moment but there are really hardly any people that play this. You will find most people that play AC MP back in ACB.
