Questions about achievements and DLC

Ubisoft took off "The Lost Archive" and ain't sure if there was achievements about that. Also, heard that there's problems for playing "Desmond memories" and ain't sure about anything, ¿can someone help me please?

I want to get the platinum, but ain't sure if i'm gonna have big troubles... u.u

Efectivamente, las memorias de Desmond no se pueden jugar y el dlc ubisoft lo eliminó y si, hay logros del dlc, prácticamente es lo único que me quedaba para el 100% solo toca esperar si llegará alguna solución pero con la situación actual de Ubisoft lo dudo 😔

When did they remove The Lost Archive? I only bought this a few weeks ago and The Lost Archive was still for sale then. Anyway, there are achievements for it, so unless they remove them as they did with the multi-player ones you won't be able to get platinum.

Desmond's Memories and the Lost Archive both work fine after a bit of tinkering, so you can play Desmond's Memories but with a bit of messing.

AFAIK only recovering executable(ACRPR.exe) is enough to run it and all the other files are still there. CD key activation is required though.

Yeah I got it working pretty easily. What I meant was, you could buy it a few weeks ago but now it has been de-listed (the DLC).

Guessing that quite a few people bought it when it was on sale and now with achievements but then refunded as they couldn't get it working. So Ubi removed it from sale rather than fix it.

DLC doesn't work if the data is missing, as they were were removed in a previous update.
Nothing to do with achievements.

The DLC doesn't work without the data of course but it was easily restored. The issue is that the DLC won't work at all if you don't own it and now you can't buy it. This does impact achievements, as its now going to be impossible for people who didn't buy it previously to be able to get them all (some are tied to the DLC).

I don't actually have this problem as I bought both the game and DLC two weeks ago and used the fix I linked to get the DLC working. The OP didn't buy the DLC yet (and now can't) and wondered if that would mean they could not "platinum" the game. Unfortunately I believe they can't. If you know differently, please inform the OP.

It’s still possible to 100%. If you need the Desmond achievements, you are going to have to downgrade your game from the Steam console command as described above, once you launch the downgraded version, you may notice your screen flickering, just ignore this and go straight to the animus island and begin the Desmond missions. The flickering goes away. (Least for me) Once you knock out those achievements, you are going to want to restore your game files. Now for the lost archive DLC achievements, I had to Buy/Download Assassins Creed Revelations Gold edition from

Then add the game to your Uplay account. Now when you laugh ACR. You should have the option to play the Gold edition. Please know that when you start unlocking the achievements in the DLC, your actual steam achievements will not unlock until you launch the original version of the game. It’s very weird but still possible to get.
