weird bodies
I was playing brotherhood and I notcied this glitch. it was doing my head in enough to stop playing mid way through and just start revelations but it is happening on here too.

when i do a running assassination (where ezio like jumps on them and stabs them) there body falls really slow and it looks really weird. it sometimes does it with air assassinations too.

i used to have both on xbox 360 and it never had this glitch then.

has anyone else had this problem?

i dont know what looks really weird really means, but the slowdown is intentional with all "Air" assasinations. The running assasination is treated like an air assassination. Its done in slowmo for added effect is all. Now if by all weird you mean they go into a garry's mod arm and leg flail... thats not supposed to happen.

alright sorry its hard to explain. I guess it is like the guards body goes in slow motion but ezio stays normal speed

I'm having the same problem with AC R and AC B! I just installed AC 2 and it doesn't happen in that game???... What could possibly be causing this?

I personally still have no idea what was causing it. Stopped playing assassin's creed a while ago but would still love to hear from anyone with a solution.

I've seem to have found a 'kinda' fix for this.

What I did was... go to NVIDIA Control Panel and changed the Vertical Sync to "Adaptive (half refresh rate)", this should force the game to play at 30 fps, as long as your 'in game' display resolution has a refresh rate of 60 Hz... And for whatever reason playing the game at 30 fps fixes the problem (for me anyway).

Alternatively you could (in theory), switch your 'in game' display resolution to one that has 30 Hz refresh rate and turn V Sync on, for the same effect... I've not tried it this way though.

The compromise is, having to play the game at 30 fps, when my PC can run it at well over 100 fps, so it's not ideal.

Obviously there must a definitive solution to fix this problem, as it only seems to be a very unlucky few experiencing it. So if anyone can diagnose and identify the root cause and provide a proper fix, I'd love to know.
