Failed to start the Ubisoft Game Launcher

PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I had the same problem just download uplay from from ubisoft's website. The one that you download from steam doesn't work.

alternative is to find the folder in Steam that has your AC files. Commonapp>AC:Revelation, that sorta deal. There will be a folder there that has the uplay set up executable that you can run manually.

Ashes means ( in your Steasm library)
1. right click on the game "... Revelations"
2. last option should be "Properties"
3. Tab "Local Data"
4. First option is "searcch local data files"
5. Explorer opens itself and you are in the dir of the starting files (.exe)
6. The 2 subdirectories you should go in are "Support" and then "GameLauncher"
7. Start this exe file.
8. Go through the installation from Ubisoft.

I watched this video and there isnt a box that i can uncheck to not connect to a proxy server. There is however a button that opens a new tap that allows me to change it, but i still dont know how to turn it off from there

I had that same problem, but i figured it out. If you had aleady logged in ubisoft then check the box that says always start ubisoft in offline mode. But if you have not, just log in, it might take a monment.
