Crashing during the third Altair mission? "The Regime"
So every time I try to escape Masyaf with my son, right before we have to perform the leap of faith, the game crashes. I've tried putting my graphics down to zero, or just tried to avoid doing certain things, but no matter what, it crashes. Anyone know a fix? I'm running it on Windows 10 if that matters. I never had a problem before now with crashes.

Oh I also verified my game cache. It said all of the files were successfully validated.

I see this in Ubisoft forum. I have İ5 CPU but it is work for me. I hope it works for you. :)
"Ok, for the people with i7-cpu's, here's what you need to do to fix it. You start the game, you do ctrl+alt+delete and (if you use windows 7 or windows vista) you click on the 'show processes from all users' button. Then you select ACRSP.exe and you click on 'set affinity'.
There you deselect all CPU's except CPU 0. This'll make the game laggy as hell, but at least you can get through the memory.
After completing the memory you'll set the affinity back to all cpu's again.
Hope it works for you, as it did for me!"

As I said before, I'm using Windows 10. This doesn't work in the same way for Windows 10. I was able to fix it though. All you have to do is go to the folder where the game files are, and run the shortcut for the game as an administrator. It'll be laggy, but it still works!

Windows 7 and neither of these worked. :( Crashed during a bomb memory and now it crashes on the loading screen.

I also had this problem happen to me in sequence 7 memory 3, but running it as an administrator didn't work. Disabling all of the CPUs except CPU 0 worked!

I know it's late and you guys already fixed it, but I stopped the crashes simply by turning on the vertical sync :/

I just played this particular mission (with vertical sync on), but it CTD'd for me too. Setting Core affinity to Core 0 only 'fixed' the issue and allowed me to finish the mission.

I had same problem, all you have to do is turn on your v-sync, worked for me

I turned on V-SYNC and Multisampling and did not kill the guy with a throwing knife. Worked for me.
