Unable to access Lost Archive
I bought it, activated it on Uplay and the game still gives me the link to the store page rather than letting me play the DLC. Also used the work around that everyone suggests with the steam console and it still sends me to the store page.

yeah its a nightmare, you have to roll back the game to an older version, check the guides section for how to do it

also after you do all that, you have to run in compatibility mode for windows 7 and also do this

It works. It made the Desmond's Journey work !

To make The Lost Archive work I have used the save file from here:
https://www.nexusmods.com/assassinscreedrevelations/mods/85?tab=description

Additional instructions to make that save file work from the Discussion on the above mentioned savefile (quote):

"1. close the game and disable cloud save in ubisoft connect
2. backup your savegame (found in the uplay directory even tho i bought the game on steam)
3. download this save file, extract and put + replace your exisiting file
4. start the game and enjoy the extra missions, outfits, gear/backpack upgrades and the lost archive =)"

Did this and it 100% worked (April 16, 2025 coincidentally a year after Roflman097's post too!). If you're into 100% completing the game via Steam, this is what I did:

First of, I bought AC2R via Steam. The DLC it included was only the outfit pack, which is no longer necessary. I haven't tried the Desmond Journey yet prior to "fixing" the game, but it seems to come with the game. Plus, the Data Fragments are already visible within the base game so I assume Desmond's Journey is already included. My main concern was The Last Archive, which was no longer available on Steam.

So, follow the steps in this guide to activate Desmond's Journey (again I believe it's already activated within the base game as of today): https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3208375262

Now, I couldn't buy another version of the game for the sake of this god-forsaken DLC (and give more bucks to Ubi after all the backlash lol) so I needed to find a way to activate The Last Archive (Vitharr's guide specifically requires you to buy the Gold Edition version). So, I searched for a 100% complete guide and this came up:

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3411505049

This offers an alternate route where you'll "Edward Kenway" your way into obtaining The Lost Archive DLC if you know what I mean *wink wink*. Once you downloaded the zip file, extract it, and place it within the Steam game folder of AC2R.

I verified the game files too just to be safe using CMD. I also tried turning off cloud saving to make Ubisoft Connect Offline mode, but it doesn't allow me to run the game, even with changing the notepad settings file.

Finally, I downloaded the save game in the Nexus Mods link Roflman097 gave.

I finished The Last Archive, finished Memory 1 of Desmond's Journey AND STILL got the Steam achievements. This means you can still 100% this game on Steam. The unlocking of DLC is just a whole lot tedious than Brotherhood.
